Analytics Engineer
Job Description As a Analytics Engineer, your main responsibility will be building and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI that provide clear insights to business stakeholders. To make these dashboards accurate and reliable, you’ll work with backend data sources in Snowflake, using SQL to join and structure tables and ensure the right data flows into your reports. You’ll also use Python or R for scripting tasks such as cleaning, transforming, and automating data processes when needed. This role is a mix of front-end visualization and backend data preparation, about half your time will be spent designing and enhancing dashboards, and the other half ensuring the underlying data is properly organized and ready for analysis. You’ll collaborate with architects and business teams to understand requirements, connect data sources, and deliver reporting solutions that track key operational metrics like SLA performance, incident resolution, and customer satisfaction. Skills and Requirements • Power BI expertise: Ability to build, maintain, and enhance dashboards that visualize operational and support metrics.  • SQL skills: Experience writing queries to join and structure tables for reporting purposes.  • Snowflake experience: Familiarity with working in Snowflake to access and prepare data for dashboards.  • Python or R scripting: Ability to use scripting for data cleaning, transformation, and light automation tasks.  • Understanding of technology support/contact center metrics such as SLA, incident resolution, CSAT, ASA, and FCRR.  • Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics (PA). • Exposure to other BI tools or data platforms similar to Snowflake. • Familiarity with people analytics (e.g., scheduling, forecasting, turnover). • Experience in operational or support environments (industry background is flexible). Knowledge of large-scale data environments (not required but beneficial).
