This role works upstream of report development, partnering with stakeholders to clarify business needs, define metrics and data elements, and translate requests into clear, actionable requirements. The Business Analyst supports reporting intake and prioritization by identifying common needs, eliminating ambiguity, and promoting standardization. By focusing on requirements quality and consistency, the role reduces ad-hoc reporting, accelerates delivery, and ensures BI solutions align to operational and account-level decision needs. **Key Responsibilities** + Partner with business and account stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document reporting and operational requirements. + Define and document business metric definitions, data elements and business rules to support consistent and scalable analytics; partner with BI Developers on technical implementation. + Design standardized data capture structures (IDs, timestamps, controlled fields, validation rules) and coordinate with BI and external data engineering teams to ensure Power Platform data is analytics-ready and usable for enterprise reporting. + Route dashboard/report build requests to the BI team and provide clear requirements artifacts to accelerate delivery; support integrated solutions where Power Platform + BI are both required. + Own maintenance of deployed Power Platform solutions (enhancements, bug fixes, documentation, training, and adoption monitoring) as business needs evolve. + Support reporting intake and prioritization by clarifying scope, eliminating ambiguity, and identifying opportunities for standardization. + Leverage the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to improve data collection, automate workflows, and reduce manual processes. + Identify and design low-code solutions that support reporting enablement, operational efficiency, and innovation initiatives. + Collaborate with the Innovations Manager to pilot, refine, and transition Power Platform solutions into broader use. + Identify, pilot, and scale practical AI-enabled productivity and automation use cases leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio (agents), and Microsoft Fabric data/AI capabilities (e.g., data agents) to improve operational workflows and reporting enablement. + Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, BI teams, Finance, and Innovation to ensure alignment and clarity. + Identify recurring or high-value requests and promote them toward standardized, scalable solutions. + Identify, evaluate, and support pilots of third-party operational technology (e.g., food waste tracking devices/tools), partnering with stakeholders to define requirements, validate ROI, and recommend scalable solutions. **Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree preferred. **Experience:** 3 to 6 years of experience analysis, analytics, reporting. + Strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse), with experience building low-code solutions that improve data collection and automate business processes. + Experience with—or strong passion for—AI-enabled productivity and automation, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio (agents), and Microsoft Fabric data/AI capabilities + Proven ability to partner with stakeholders (operators, account teams, clients, leaders) to gather requirements, clarify ambiguity, and translate needs into clear, actionable deliverables. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and consistency in data definitions. + Working knowledge of reporting and analytics concepts, including data quality, validation, and basic data modeling. + Knowledge of food service operations and operational reporting concepts is strongly preferred. + Experience working in a client-facing or consulting-style role, including managing stakeholder expectations and delivering solutions to internal or external customers. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, BI, Finance, and Innovation teams. + Proactive, execution-focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement. **Apply to Eurest today!** _Eurest is a member of Compass Group USA_ Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story (http://www.compass-usa.com/our-story/) **Associates at Eurest are offered many fantastic benefits.** + Medical + Dental + Vision + Life Insurance/ AD + Disability Insurance + Retirement Plan + Paid Time Off + Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) + Associate Shopping Program + Health and Wellness Programs + Discount Marketplace + Identity Theft Protection + Pet Insurance + Commuter Benefits + Employee Assistance Program + Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) + Paid Parental Leave + Personal Leave Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
