Job details We are seeking a highly skilled and mechanically inclined Analytical Service Technician. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of laboratory equipment, including UPLC, FPLC, and spectrophotometers.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair analytical lab equipment to ensure full operational functionality ... Perform software updates and system maintenance across Microsoft platforms (Vista to Windows 11)
Service, rebuild, or replace mechanical components and miscellaneous parts of various instruments
Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients (Occasionally)
Ensure equipment calibration and performance standards are met
Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field
Familiarity with regulated lab environments (GLP/GMP)
Experience with brands such as Waters, GE Healthcare, Thermo Fisher, or Agilent
Knowledge of calibration procedures and quality assurance protocols

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Experience servicing laboratory equipment such as UPLC, FPLC, spectrophotometers, and similar instruments
Strong understanding of computer hardware/software repair and updates
Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems (Vista through Windows 11)
Mechanical aptitude with ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites
