Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and scientifically driven Analytical Scientist to support Extractables and Leachables (E&L) testing in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role involves operating advanced analytical instrumentation (GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS), performing rigorous data analysis, and authoring high-quality technical documentation to support regulatory compliance and client deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform E&L testing using GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MS in a GMP-compliant laboratory.Analyze complex data sets to assess product safety and ensure regulatory compliance.Author clear, scientifically sound technical reports, protocols, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.Review and verify test results for accuracy and consistency with regulatory standards; escalate anomalies as needed.Maintain accurate records in accordance with cGxP and GDP standards.Calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods.Support method development and validation, including protocol drafting and documentation.Participate in training activities, both as a learner and mentor, with a focus on documentation best practices.Maintain lab supplies, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelines.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of industry experience, or a Master’s degree with relevant experience.Hands-on experience with GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MS instrumentation.Demonstrated experience working in a GMP-regulated laboratory.Proven ability to write and review detailed technical documentation.Strong organizational skills and proficiency with LIMS and data analysis software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.Additional InformationWhat to Expect in the Hiring Process:
