Job Description

For one of our teams based in Vienna we are currently looking to hire an experienced Scientist with a focus on LC-MS method development and method transfer. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Development of analytical methods for the quantification of detergents using LC-MS(triple quadrupole) for plasma-derived and recombinant products according to AQbD principlesHandle and interpret complex data independentlyPrepare and review documentation including method procedures, validation protocols, and transfer reportsCollaboration with different departments in method transfer activities (internal and external QC sites)Routine measurement of provided process test samplesReview and communicate analytical results effectively across teams

Qualifications

For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with:

Master’s or PhD in Analytical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industryStrong background in HPLC and LC-MS method development/troubleshootingProven proficiency in technical writing (e.g. publications, thesis, project reports)Independent planning and execution of analytical projects and result communication (reports, PPTs, etc.)Proficiency in German and English, written and spokenStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesTeam-oriented with a flexible and collaborative personalityUnderstanding of GxP requirements

The minimum salary according to the collective agreement (Vewendungsgruppe III) for this position is at least EUR 2633.91 (2025). Due to the responsible and demanding tasks and with appropriate qualifications, an appropriate overpayment is envisaged.
