Job Description
We are seeking an Analytical Lab Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. In this role, you will perform basic wet chemistry techniques for in-process and final testing labs. You will be responsible for preparing and running samples of products through analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, IR, Titration (manual with barrette and some automated), Density, FTIR, Viscosity, and pH. You will also support R&D with pilot plant samples and work based off of the LIMS system. This position requires maintaining documentation and following SOPs. You will work in a team setting but perform tasks independently, including working in the raw materials lab and collecting samples from the receiving area for testing.
Responsibilities

BS in a science preferred (Chemistry or science degree with chemistry minor).Associate degree in a science with chemistry coursework plus 1-2 years of lab experience.Experience in academia with wet chemistry or analytical instrumentation.Work Environment
You will work in an industrial lab environment with large labs equipped with both old and new equipment. The pace can be fast due to the approaching flu season. Attire is casual with lab coat. The role is on the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, with training provided on the 1st shift initially. Training will include learning the LIMS system.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.53/hr.
