You will have the chance to work in an interesting and complex environment within a multinational public company based in Montreal, Quebec, working with colleagues at all levels from all geographical regions of the organization.

You will be involved in the entire financial cycle, including the annual budget, quarterly reports/forecasts and month-end closing exercises. Responsible for general ledger analysis and related account reconciliations, and other financial and analytical projects as directed. Requires attention to detail, analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Your role

Support the business with performance trend analysis of projects, clients and markets in relation to expected targets.

Participate in the development of monthly reports and collaborate with business partners to assist our operations.

Participate in streamlining the budgeting and forecasting process with the business units and headquarters to ensure consistency across the business and achieve significant efficiencies.

Collaborate in the preparation of budget instructions for business unit controllers to communicate clear deadlines and ensure the integrity of information.

Create standard budgeting reports and ensure successful communication and implementation within the business units.

Support the area in developing processes, tools and reports to facilitate reporting, planning, forecasting and performance monitoring activities.

Participate in various special projects and adhoc requests.

About you

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a team, resourcefulness and thoroughness

Ability and interest in learning accounting applications - Hyperion / Oracle

Enthusiastic, motivated and results oriented

Bilingual English/French (spoken and written)
