Analyst- Sustainability Reporting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated emerging professional to support the organization’s enterprise‑wide Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory and ESG reporting activities. This role focuses on data collection, validation, documentation, and coordination, contributing directly to our Net Zero and decarbonization strategy. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of sustainability reporting and is ready to grow into a deeper GHG accounting role.

Key Responsibilities:

GHG Inventory Management

·       Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions inventory in alignment with the GHG Protocol.

·       Support data collection, tracking, and organization from business units across geographies.

·       Conduct initial validation checks, flag inconsistencies, and maintain documentation for audit trails.

·       Assist in third-party verification/assurance processes and respond to auditor queries.

Reporting & Disclosures

·       Assist in preparing inputs for major ESG disclosures such as CDP, TCFD, CSRD, ISSB, and internal sustainability reporting.

·       Help generate dashboards and management presentations summarizing data trends and inventory updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·       Coordinate with teams such as Corporate Sustainability, GREWE, Aviation, Controllership, and others to gather required emission-related data.

·       Help maintain internal documentation on emissions factors, data sources, and calculation guidance.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

·       Stay updated on evolving climate standards, regulatory developments, and sustainability reporting trends.

·       Support benchmarking efforts by gathering information on industry practices and new tools.

Qualifications:

·       2–3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental data management, finance, or operations.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Climate Science, or related fields.

·       Working knowledge of sustainability concepts, including:

GHG emissionsClimate reporting frameworks (ISSB, CDP, TCFD, GRI, CSRD)

·       Proficiency in Excel and exposure to analytics/reporting tools preferred (e.g., Workiva, Watershed)

·       Strong attention to detail, organizational discipline, and willingness to learn

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

·       Experience supporting ESG reporting in a corporate or consulting environment.

·       Familiarity with GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, or SBTi guidance.

·       Basic understanding of controls frameworks.

·       Certifications or coursework in ESG/Sustainability (e.g., ISSP, FSA, GHG accounting training).
