**Job Description:**
J&J Innovative Medicine in Leiden is recruiting for the position of **Analyst in Quality Control,** based in Leiden.
Leiden QC laboratories are responsible for release and stability testing of lentivirus produced at the various production sites of J&J. The position is open within the MOI team, where the lentivirus is tested on CAR-T% (flow cytometry), vector copy number (qPCR) and IFNg (ELISA).

**You will be responsible for:**
+ Handling deviations, acting as the lead investigator for non-conformances, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
+ Creating, reviewing, and updating lab documentation and new product introduction (NPI) supporting documents.
+ Providing technical support to the lab and sharing insights within local/global teams to enhance processes.
+ Applying advanced technical expertise across various assays, including training and mentoring colleagues as needed.
+ Acting as a backup for the technical specialist and serving as a technical system owner for analytical equipment.
+ Leading continuous improvement projects while ensuring compliance with EHSS regulations, GMP standards, and Lean principles.
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of validated experience in Quality Control.
+ Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical QC testing, especially in biologics and vaccines.
+ Expertise in methods such as cell culture separations, qPCR, and flow cytometry; experience in complex assay training is a plus; qualified as TTT (train the trainer) is a must.
+ Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and cGMP principles (FDA, EU, etc.).Demonstrated organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with a good grasp of Process Excellence and Lean manufacturing concepts.
+ Experience as Subject Matter Expert during audits and inspections.
+ Experience in leading and driving continuous improvement projects.
+ Fluent in English with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, combined with a quality-focused attitude.
