ANALYST-PROGRAMMER - Network Coordinator (Riverville Mill)

Responsibilities

Position is primarily focused on development for applications used to support eight Paper Mills located throughout the United States. Environments include SQL Server and MS Windows/AD. Experience in .NET and SQL is required.  Successful candidates will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced industrial environment.  Some travel is involved on a project-by-project basis.

 

Basic Qualifications 

A minimum of 2-4 years of previous work experience in the related ITS area.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field of study.IT knowledge of computers, laptops, tablets, servers, mobile units, and virtual machine environments.Knowledge of networks (i.e.: Network Switches, TCP/IP, Packet Capture Software).Knowledge of VMware and Microsoft Server environments.Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory.Experience Supporting O365, including Outlook and MS Teams.Experience in investigating and resolving help desk service requests and using help desk software.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of VLAN concepts and configuration.Understand the concept of PowerShell commands.Familiarity with Wireless technologies (Aruba, Aerohive and Cisco).Familiarity with traffic capture techniques and software.Understanding of DHCP, VLANs, and SSH protocols.

Must possess a strong work ethic and leadership qualities. Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple projects and/or requests concurrently.

Must be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with both internal and external customersMust exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skillsMust be capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving and detailed requirements-gathering.Must be capable of working with ambiguity and change.
