Job DescriptionResponsible in planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of all IT applications for Malaysia and Singapore.
To perform application support, change requests, bug fix duties, and ensuring completion of tasks within the agreed time.
To perform preventive and corrective activities to ensure availability of deployed systems/applications.
To study and document business/user/system requirements.
To perform system design and document system specifications.
To provide system training to end users.
To assist in user acceptance test and production deployment/installation.
Support eLIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for Malaysia and Singapore, this includes incident, change request and user access.
Advise and assist user with solutions based on system capability and features.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
Minimum 3-4 years working experience in PHP , VB script , Javascript , html, CSS programming.
Proficient in Window Bash Script, SQL, etc.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Experience in system & requirement study, system design & implementation is preferred.
Possess initiative and service-oriented attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Passionate for programming and able to work under minimal supervision.
Strong ownership attitude and a track record of taking responsibility for problems and pushing through to resolution.
