Contributes to the ongoing achievement of the organization's clinical, financial, and service goals through the application of clinical or operational expertise to material resource and change management. Applies knowledge to the established value analysis process; product utilization reviews and product change management processes' and serves as a liaison between System Pharmacy Logistics and Purchasing and local pharmacies. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to lead change, improving financial, clinical, and patient outcomes and facilitates interactions between clinical and non-clinical staff. Creates Purchase Orders (POs) for RX items, works with suppliers to order items, resolve invoice holds, and update POs.
The Pharmacy Strategic Value Analyst for Drug Supply Chain Security Act and Reverse Distribution will provide system level support and oversight for DSCSA compliance, Reverse Distribution, Recalls, and Returns. This position will focus on standard operating procedures for these responsibilities, auditing compliance with those workflows, building vertical relationships between system pharmacy and local/regional pharmacies, maintaining regulatory compliance with DSCSA and improving financial performance via reductions in expired and wasted medications.
Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred. Indiana Pharmacy Technician License is required. Pharmacy Technician National Certification is required. 5-7 years relevant experience is required. Requires working knowledge in business application computer skills, PCs, and Microsoft Office Suite. Absence of criminal history in regards to drugs is required. Full proficiency as a pharmacy technician is required. Ability to work within established procedures under limited supervision is required.
