The Analyst role should have experience in accounting, finance and payroll operation, focused on timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for accounting reconciliations of the Brazilian payroll. This role will also be responsible for review, validation and analysis of results and reports. You will follow J&J Global Services’ tools, procedures, and guidelines in discharge of your day-to-day duties. Good collaboration skills, adaptability and time management are critical for this role. **Key Responsibilities ** + Ensure that all financial information related to Brazil payroll is accurate, reconciling amounts with internal and external records. + Analyze and support the business in reviewing accounting entries related to payroll, including salaries, social security contributions, benefits, taxes, and provisions. + Ensure that all payroll items are correctly classified in the accounting accounts, in accordance with the company's and country's chart of accounts, and accounting standards. + Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and on-demand reports to support partner departments, internal and external audits, and management reports. + Provide information and documentation required for internal, external, and tax audits. + Control the provision of payroll-related expenses, such as vacation pay, Christmas bonus, overtime, and others. + Maintain efficient communication with the GSF and business areas to ensure data accuracy and compliance with deadlines. + Executes, in accordance with globally established standards, processes for SOX compliance, internal controls, and required regulatory/statutory requirements (including payroll record data maintenance). + Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, data protection assurance, conformity with J&J policies, procedures, external regulations, and agencies. + Updates and maintains accounting process and payroll administration documentation. **Qualifications ** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. + Minimum 5 years' prior experience in payroll accounting, finance or related fields in Brazil is required. + Strong English language verbal and written communication skills is desirable. + Research and problem-solving skills required. + Ability to execute tactically, quickly adapt to situations, and address day-to-day operational challenges under supervision. + Cultural awareness and an ability to work with a multitude of people across multiple markets assigned. **Required Skills:** **Preferred Skills:** Business Behavior, Communication, Data Capturing, Data Reporting, Detail-Oriented, Execution Focus, Financial Analysis, Financial Recordkeeping, Financial Risk Management (FRM), Internal Controls, Issue Escalation, Numerically Savvy, Payroll Processing, Payroll Reporting, Payroll Software, Payroll Taxes, Process Optimization, Process Oriented, Professional Ethics
