What is the opportunity?
The role involves pre and post trade deal processing for RBC Capital Markets securities trading businesses and its clients.
You will ensure that trades are captured, matched for settlement, funded and reconciled as well as covering post trade processes.
The Operations role is a first line of defence to trading businesses, ensures accurate books and records are maintained whilst providing a seamless client experience.
Working Hours: 3PM-1AM/4PM-1AM
Region: EMEA
What will you do?
Manage the confirmation of all OTC Derivative deliverables above defined threshold with external counterparties and internal RBC entities
Execute the daily settlement and funding requirements for the European OTC Derivatives and structured products settlements
Reconcile and investigate cash and suspense accounts to ensure correct accounting processes
Engage with clients to resolve settlement discrepancies and deliver exceptional client service
Complete daily clearing activity processes across LCH and ICE platforms.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Previous experience with Murex
Good settlement and cash/funding management experience
Intermediate to advanced excel capabilities
Effective Communication, both verbal and written to engage with a global team
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Nice-to-have
Exposure to various OTC Derivatives Trading Products
Knowledge of market infrastructure such as Settlement Agents, Nostro Agents and Clearing Houses.
The ability to perform analysis of business processes and implement change as appropriate.
