Job Description:

Education:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent in years of related work experience requiredAssociation of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), LP Certified(LPC) and LP Qualified (LPQ) are a plus

Work Experiences:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis and managementProficient in using exception reporting systems such as Aspect, APIS, and other Exception-based reportingPrior experience in the retail industry is a plus

Skills:

Thorough understanding of retail operations and profitabilityAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysisAbility to analyze and comprehend complex business processes and proceduresExcellent communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writingStrong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and prioritize responsibilitiesExtensive background in analyzing fraudulent or criminal activitiesAbility to handle and maintain confidential informationEstablish and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressureTime Management

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough analysis of point-of-sale transactional data using LP tools, such as exception-based reporting, networked CCTV, and other company systems, to identify patterns, trends, and exceptions for investigation of potential internal and external fraudulent activityDevelop and execute internal and external investigations, providing actionable data and offering investigative support using available resources and technologies, as directedProactively contribute to the development and enhancement of data mining, monitoring, and analytics to improve existing strategies or create new ones for minimizing Loss/ShrinkMonitor and maintain LP systems used by the LP department, including exception-based reporting and case management systemsGenerate reports in LP systems for trend analysis and metricsUtilize predictive models and SKU analysis to identify shrink-related trendsResolve customer facing issues specifically related to the returns process and possible fraudulent activityAssist with the training of LP personnel on applicable LP systems.Performs special projects or additional Loss Prevention related duties as requested by Loss Prevention ManagerCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify LP business needs, problems, and opportunities for shrink improvement, with a focus on transaction operations
