What is Investment Risk Regulatory Operations Team responsible for?

The Investment Risk Regulatory Operations Team in Poznan plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with investment risk regulations. The team supports the organization’s risk management strategy by delivering accurate, timely regulatory reports. It focuses on data validation, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Analyst-Investment Risk Regulatory Operations?

Lead efforts to automate regulatory reporting processes—leveraging tools such as Excel (advanced VBA), Power Query, SQL, and Python—to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency

Perform thorough data validation and review of regulatory reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance; provide oversight and quality assurance throughout the reporting process

Assist in interpreting and implementing new investment risk-related regulations by supporting the design and execution of compliance projects

Collaborate across departments to gather data, coordinate input, and develop actionable plans to meet evolving regulatory requirements

Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of a robust data governance framework for regulatory reporting, ensuring data consistency, quality, and alignment across the organization

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Bachelor's degree in finance, math, computer science or other quantitative discipline

Knowledge of financial instruments and basic statistics

Knowledge of VBA, PowerQuery and SQL

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Experience in any of the following a plus:

PowerBI

PowerAutomate

BusinessObjects

PowerShell

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently or with limited guidance

Willingness to continually expand knowledge

Working hours: 7-11am – 3.30-7.30pm, typically 9-5.30pm
