**Manulife 6-Month Analyst Internship, Private Equity Asia** **Group** Private Equity Asia (PE Asia) focuses on private equity investments in the Asia-Pacific region through funds and direct equity co-investments. For funds, we seek multi-year commitments to pan-Asia and region-focused funds in China, Japan, Australia, South Korea, India, and Southeast Asia. We partner primarily with funds of US$250 million or larger that seek minimum commitments of US$25 million. For direct equity co-investments, we seek to invest alongside Asia-based private equity sponsors in privately owned businesses. We generally target investments of US$25-50 million in buyout or growth equity transactions. We invest in businesses in Asia, or with an Asia-centric presence or growth angle. The PE Asia team is based in Hong Kong and is currently comprised of eight investment professionals.
