Overview of the Business:

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payment issuer and partner for businesses with products and services that help them grow and run their businesses. The GCS Product Analytics team plays a pivotal role within the GCS Products organization by providing advanced analytics and statistical methodologies to driver deep insights into client behavior. Our mission is to inform and shape product strategies and deliver connected, personalized experiences that foster deeper client engagement and drive sustainable, profitable growth.

The GCS Portfolio Analytics & Insights team deploys advanced analytics to understand portfolio trends, monitor Card Member behavior, inform product strategy, and make GCS products and connected experiences an indisputable competitive advantage. The Analyst Portfolio Analytics is responsible for leading a team of high performing analysts to support and inform GCS strategy. The role will work cross functionally across several groups including Credit Risk, Marketing, Finance and Product. This role represents a unique opportunity to leverage applied quantitative experience to influence business strategy and requires outstanding relationship management skills to partner with multiple stakeholders and drive results.

Responsibilities:Create dashboards and ad hoc analysis for portfolio performance tracking.Monitoring variance from actuals across drivers and understand associated drivers.Use new data (external/modelled intelligence) to understand enhance benchmarking frameworks, evolve client revenue behavioral insights, and build compelling narratives on portfolio trends.Partner with leader and credit risk teams to leverage new data/DS intelligence, and design customer segmentation frameworks through firmographic profiling.Manage industry level data needs across the enterprise and enable competitive benchmarking of our portfolio.Use advance analytics to understand opportunities for growth and emerging threats and headwind with regard to customer behavior and process experiences.Minimum Qualifications0-3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.Proven ability to manipulate, analyze, and extract insights from large and complex datasetsProficiency in data analytics and programming tools such as SQL, Python or Hive or similar.Strong understanding of the charge card economics with demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through strategic analysisExcellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audienceNatural Intellectual curiosity and strong interest in the Credit card and benefits landscape.Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business results.
