Job Description

As a Software Developer at Veolia DB&T Belux, you'll join a development team tasked with maintaining and enhancing both current and future products. 

User Interfaces:Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining dynamic web elements, integrating them with server-side logic, and constructing reusable components across our product range. Backend Solutions: You'll be tasked with developing and maintaining robust backend logic for reliable and scalable systems, always considering speed, reliability, and data. Quality Code: You're expected to write reusable, efficient code and conduct automated tests to uphold our high-quality standard.

What are your main tasks?

Coordinating and monitoring operational activities and contractual SLAs and KPIsEnsuring the correct implementation of contractual waste activities on the fieldManaging projects related to waste managementParticipating in client meetings about new needs, cost savings, and various operational optimizations & actionsPerforming audits of the infrastructure and organization of clients to optimize waste managementOrganizing training sessions and awareness campaigns about waste managementPreparing reporting on the progress of operational waste activitiesAnalyzing complaints and non-conformities and proposing corrective measuresOptimizing the layout of the recycling parkDaily monitoring and tracking of action plans, financial and management KPIs Inventorying and identifying unknown waste substances to propose innovative processing and recycling possibilitiesCommunicating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize waste collection Job requirements 

Qualifications

What do we expect from you?

A bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field is requiredYou must have proven experience in both front-end and back-end development, including skills in Javascript, Typescript, SQL, Python, etcExperience with Docker and cloud services of AWS and AzureYou must possess excellent analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and quality.Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essentialA willingness to continuously learn, grow, and stay updated with the latest industry trends is crucialYou should be able to provide insightful design and code reviewsYou must have a strong proficiency in spoken and written English. Dutch and/or French are a big plusBeing a team player, you should be comfortable collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and product managers, and be open to sharing ideas and knowledge
