The Analyst – AO Business Strategy Execution role is responsible for managing automation projects to streamline processes and enhance productivity at the AO Hub Business Office. The analyst will analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to optimize workflows. The position focuses on driving efficiency through process innovation, continually improving operations by uncovering trends in data, and developing supporting tools to enhance overall efficiency.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Highschool diploma or relevant work experience2 years’ experience in data analyst role focusing on data visualization and reportingMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExpertise in Power-Bi, PowerApps dashboard developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrict attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyFamiliarity with writing complex queries and procedures using both traditional and modern technologies/languages (i.e. SQL, VBA, Python, Spark, etc.)Ability to learn what a business team does, then design a data/technology solution that connects business processes with quantifiable outcomesAutomate existing manual reports and processes to improve operational throughoutBuild predictive models and analyze results for dissemination of insights to United leadershipDesign meaningful metrics that indicate operational health and inform operational decisionsMust be willing and able to travel 15%-20% domestic if neededExternal out of state: This position is not eligible for relocation. Must be willing and able to relocate at your own expenseMust be willing and able to work a hybrid schedule 3 days in-office at the Arlington Heights Support Center (AHSC) in Arlington Heights, ILMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
