**Job overview and responsibilities**
The Analyst – AO Business Strategy & Execution role is responsible for managing automation projects to streamline processes and enhance productivity at the AO Hub Business Office. The analyst will analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to optimize workflows. The position focuses on driving efficiency through process innovation, continually improving operations by uncovering trends in data, and developing supporting tools to enhance overall efficiency.
+ Build high-quality dashboards, tools and reports for the AO Business Office Leadership
+ Oversee the analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can shape effective AO Business Office strategies and tactics
+ Create meaningful metrics to support finance-related decisions for AO Business Office
+ Streamline and automate existing processes and reports to enhance efficiency
+ Document and organize data while ensuring proper storage and maintenance
+ Ad-hoc support in AO Business Office Centralization team finance processes
**Qualifications**
**What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):**
+ Highschool diploma or relevant work experience
+ 2+ years’ experience in data analyst role focusing on data visualization and reporting
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
+ Expertise in Power-Bi, PowerApps dashboard development
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Strict attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
+ Familiarity with writing complex queries and procedures using both traditional and modern technologies/languages (i.e. SQL, VBA, Python, Spark, etc.)
+ Ability to learn what a business team does, then design a data/technology solution that connects business processes with quantifiable outcomes
+ Automate existing manual reports and processes to improve operational throughout
+ Build predictive models and analyze results for dissemination of insights to United leadership
+ Design meaningful metrics that indicate operational health and inform operational decisions
+ Must be willing and able to travel 15%-20% domestic if needed
+ External out of state: This position is not eligible for relocation. Must be willing and able to relocate at your own expense
+ Must be willing and able to work a hybrid schedule 3 days in-office at the Arlington Heights Support Center (AHSC) in Arlington Heights, IL
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
**What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):**
+ Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
+ Master's degree or 6 years of relevant work experience
+ Field of study in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or related area of study
+ Familiarity with various parts of the data ecosystem (i.e. acquisition, engineering, storage, management, analysis, visualization, and deployment)
The base pay range for this role is $64,885.00 to $84,514.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
