Note: This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Job Overview:

As an Advanced Analytics Analyst, you will be a key driver in optimizing our end-to-end supply chain. You'll use your expertise in data analysis and modeling to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the reliability of our supply chain network. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, business acumen, and strong collaboration skills to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets related to the entire supply chain, including inventory, transportation, warehousing, and delivery. Develop and maintain insightful reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics performance, such as on-time delivery rates, transportation costs, and warehouse efficiency. Lead the transition of legacy reporting to new business intelligence (BI) platforms to create a single source of truth and improve data visibility. Distribution Operations: Analyze data on warehouse operations to identify opportunities for efficiency gains in picking, packing, and shipping processes. Monitor and report on key distribution metrics, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment cycle time, and cost per unit. Conduct root cause analysis on issues within the distribution center, such as discrepancies in inventory or delays in order processing, and recommend solutions. Collaborate with warehouse management to provide data-driven insights that optimize labor utilization and space management. Logistics Planning and Analysis: Conduct quantitative analysis to support logistics planning and strategy, including network optimization, transportation mode selection, and warehouse location. Develop and maintain models to assess the financial impact of various logistics scenarios, such as changes in carriers, lead times, or service levels. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of opportunity and lead cross-functional initiatives to execute on continuous improvement projects. Evaluate existing supply chain and logistics processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Inventory Planning, Distribution, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of supply chain strategies with overall business goals. Present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels. Technology Utilization: Leverage supply chain systems and advanced analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI) to improve data visibility and enhance decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. One year/Internship experience in supply chain analysis and management is preferred. Proficiency in data analysis and tools such as Excel, SQL, and supply chain management software. Experience/Knowledge of Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.) and scripting (Python/R) Familiarity with the Advanced analytics topics/tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
