**Organization Overview:**
The Analytics Engineering and Visualization Hub is a centralized team within Finance Digital Transformation whose mission is to build trusted data products—including semantic models, dashboards, and other tools—that empower Finance and the broader organization to make faster, smarter decisions. By standardizing data and visual design, we enable scalable analytics, data literacy, and the foundation for AI-driven solutions.
**Position Description:**
The Analyst – AEV Hub – Power BI Developer will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining high-impact, aesthetically polished dashboards and enterprise-grade semantic models to enable scalable self-service analytics. The ideal candidate combines a strong intuition for data preparation and semantic modeling with an eye for visual design, ensuring dashboards are not only accurate and performant, but also intuitive and engaging. This role reports to the Senior Director of the Analytics Engineering and Visualization Hub.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with Finance stakeholders and various technical teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
+ Collaborate with enterprise data engineering teams and AEV Hub analytics engineers to align data structures, ensuring datasets are optimized and ready for reporting
+ Build efficient and scalable Power BI semantic models using best practices in data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and row-level security
+ Design intuitive, visually compelling dashboards aligned with UX/UI principles to support financial planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making
+ Define and enforce standards, templates, and documentation to promote consistent development practices and broad adoption of the hub-developed assets
+ Support the rollout, enablement, and training of self-service users within Finance
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues to improve the performance, reliability, and usability of reports, dashboards, and models
**Basic Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field
+ 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics and reporting
+ Experience with Power BI, including a strong command of data modeling principles and DAX.
+ Familiarity with data query and transformation tools such Power Query or SQL
+ Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role
**Additional Skills/Preferences:**
+ Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300)
+ Experience building and managing secure, scalable semantic models with robust access controls
+ Experience with Power BI service (workspaces, deployment, row-level security, dataflows).
+ Experience contributing to enterprise data governance and standardization efforts
+ Awareness of Microsoft Fabric and its components (i.e., lakehouses, warehouses, dataflows, pipelines, notebooks)
+ Awareness of ETL processes
+ Experience working in Finance or with financial data
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical stakeholders

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$63,750 - $145,200
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
