As a part of the Enterprise Digital Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for developing world class digital products, capabilities and marketing programs that support our global markets and help drive performance marketing growth.

In the role of Analyst: Digital Publisher Partnership Solutions, you will be a part of the Enterprise Performance Channel Solutions team, which is responsible for delivering the Enterprise level strategy with major digital publishers, ongoing partnerships, and critical advertising technology. This team plays an integral part in delivering on revenue-driving business outcomes by ensuring American Express has access to best-in-class advertising solutions that future-proof our business.

You will report to the Manager within the Digital Publisher Partnership Solutions Team and will be responsible for enabling and supporting the usage of platforms and capabilities across programmatic and social media publishers such as Google, Reddit, Meta and Amazon.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop the Enterprise's partnerships with large, global advertising publishers. You will drive a step change in growth across multiple countries and various lines of business, during a period of significant innovation in the industry.

A successful candidate will have a track-record in Digital Performance Marketing and deep understanding of the digital media and advertising tech landscape. Expertise or experience in campaign management, measurement, and understanding of the platforms and capabilities that can be used to drive performance is a plus.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global team of subject matter experts, while also gaining exposure to many colleagues across the business and critical Amex-external partners.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Manage relationships with advertising giants such as Google, Meta, Amazon and Reddit to support business outcomesIdentify, assess and onboard new external advertising partners to ensure American Express continues to be a leader in the digital advertising spaceScope new platform capabilities to drive future performance and input into advertising technology roadmapsWork with central and local marketing activation teams to ensure maximum value is driven from new capabilitiesManage delivery of multiple value-add deals across partners and geographies, supporting negotiations and enabling marketing teams to access benefitsPresent digital capability strategy and roadmaps to stakeholders in markets and other central teamsMonitor internal and external digital trends and ad technologies and act as subject matter expertise (SME) for these trends to continually improve the programme and maintain competitive advantage Monitor internal and external digital trends and ad technologies and act as subject matter expertise (SME) for these trends to continually improve the programme and maintain competitive advantageAct as a SME in publisher driven performance marketing across the enterprise, representing the team in global forums and cross-market initiatives

 

Minimum Qualifications

Experience as a ‘Technical Marketer’ with an understanding of Marketing, Data and Tech used to power business goalsProven track record of managing large-scale digital advertising relationships with partners such as Google, Meta and others, to deliver measurable acquisition outcomesExcellent partner management skillsExcellent cross-functional collaboratorSelf-starter and initiative drivenExceptional program management and organisation skillsStrong external perspective- ability to look externally at advertising landscape to understand and synthesize current and future trends, regulations, opportunities, and threatsExcellent communication and presentation skillsUnderstanding of regulatory environment surrounding advertising technology and experience working in a regulated industry would be preferable
