Analyst, Sustainable Investing – SLC Management

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Sustainable Investing, the Analyst, Sustainable Investing is responsible for helping to coordinate the development and delivery of the firm’s research, engagement, and client solutions-related initiatives. SLC Management’s Sustainable Investing team works in partnership with the investment teams, legal and compliance teams, and marketing and distribution teams to support the integration of financially material sustainability considerations, consistent with our fiduciary duty to our clients.
What you will do:
Conduct climate and ESG-related research on prevailing trends and areas of investment focusDevelop a deep understanding of each investment team's sustainable investing practices across all asset classesEngage with investment teams to deliver accurate, timely, and relevant insights applicable to our sustainable investing risk assessment processesCollaboration with cross-functional teams to develop innovative research analysis and insights for the benefit of clientsStaying informed of the latest developments and best practices in ESG integration and climate target frameworksClear communication of findings through written reports and presentationsSupport the development, adoption, and maintenance of software and tools that support climate and ESG integration efforts; develop expertise in research toolsCoordinate our direct and collaborative engagement efforts with portfolio companiesEvaluate portfolio company progress towards net zero using third-party modelling techniques, advancing our clients’ climate-related goalsPlay a key role in strategic climate management projects such as conducting climate scenario assessments, client goal setting, and developing key risk indicatorsHelp synthesize and visualize information to show trends and key performance updates for presentations to key internal and external audiencesContribute to the development of our annual sustainability report and other climate disclosuresSupport other sustainable investing projects within the team as neededWhat you need to succeed:
