Responsibilities

Ascension is seeking an Analyst, PMO Process to define, document, and enforce portfolio management processes to ensure consistency, discipline, and scalability across Growth Marketing & Digital Experience (GMDx). This role is part of the new Portfolio & Program Management Office and plays a key part in improving how initiatives are prioritized, governed, and executed, enabling the organization to deliver with speed, quality and strategic intent.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Define and document standard processes for initiative intake, prioritization, governance, and reporting.Support adoption of consistent methodologies (Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid) across the portfolio.Support the design of smarter workflows that enable transparency, collaboration and efficiency across the portfolioEnsure program managers and teams follow established processes, escalating issues when needed.Facilitate portfolio review cadences and track adherence to governance requirements.Partner with the tooling analyst to ensure processes are reflected in dashboards and PMO systems.Support integrated roadmapping across the portfolio ensuring visibility into risks, issues and opportunities for efficiencyIdentify opportunities to improve workflows and standardize best practices across GMDx initiatives.Prepare playbooks, templates, and training materials to drive consistency and efficiency.
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.3–5 years of experience in PMO operations, project management, or business process improvement.Strong knowledge of program/portfolio management methodologies and governance frameworks.Excellent organizational and process design skills.Strong facilitation and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders to adopt best practices.Experience working in a large, complex, matrixed environment is preferred.
