The Analyst, People Operations & Analytics is a key member of GumGum's People team. This role is responsible for driving data-driven insights, optimizing core HR processes, and enhancing our HR technology stack. The position is central to building a scalable, global HR infrastructure by moving beyond execution to analysis, modeling, and strategic improvement. This role provides critical analytical support to the global team and ensures the operational excellence and integrity of the People function.
The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in data, systems, and process improvement. This position reports to the Director, Global Compensation & Operations.
What You'll Achieve
People Analytics & Reporting
Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards to track key people metrics and inform business strategy. Analyze and interpret trends related to the entire employee lifecycle, including hiring, promotions, transfers, and separations, to provide actionable insights. Fulfill ad hoc and complex requests for people data, reports, and analyses from stakeholders across the organization. Serve as the primary liaison for payroll, summarizing and validating data for bi-weekly North America payroll adjustments.HRIS & Data Governance
Serve as a subject matter expert for the HR technology stack, with a focus on HRIS (ADP) and people ops platforms (ChartHop). Take ownership of data integrity across all People systems, overseeing and auditing employee lifecycle data changes to ensure a high degree of accuracy. Manage and optimize data flows and feeds between systems, such as ADP and ChartHop. Lead regular, systematic data audits to identify and implement immediate and long-term systemic fixes. Perform light configuration and assist in testing and implementing new HR system features and integrations.Compensation & Incentive Plan Administration
Provide significant administrative and analytical assistance during annual performance reviews and compensation planning cycles. Support annual salary survey data submissions to ensure we maintain access to compensation market data. Support ad hoc compensation benchmarking as needed Create and maintain a central catalog of all incentive plans, ensuring consistent naming conventions and clear documentation. Manage the administration and tracking of all company incentive plans. Partner with the Compensation and Finance teams to model, calculate, and process incentive payouts and support process improvements for plan design and communication.Process Automation & Strategic Improvement
Lead initiatives to identify, document, and streamline manual People Operations processes and data flows. Scope and support the improvement of 1-3 key processes quarterly, managing projects of varying complexity. Collaborate with the People team and cross-functional partners on projects to refine operational procedures and improve the employee experience. Champion the use of technology to create a more efficient and user-friendly experience for all team members.Back Up / Serve as Escalation Point for People Operations
Serve as back up for administrative components / tasks of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, to ensure a smooth, positive, and compliant experience. Performance regular audits and analysis of employee files in ChartHop. Serve as an escalation point for complex employee inquiries, providing timely, empathetic, and accurate support.Skills You'll Bring
Experience
Approximately 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical role such as People Analytics, Compensation, Finance, HRIS, or a related field. A degree in a quantitative or related field (e.g., I/O Psychology, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics) is highly desirable. Advanced experience with HRIS systems is required; specific experience with ADP, Greenhouse, and ChartHop is a strong plus.Skills
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with an innovative and proactive approach to finding solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to data integrity. Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Excel, including experience with data modeling and analysis. At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from 81,000 - 99,500 annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.
