And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** Participates on complex medical economic projects such as medical cost analysis and budget impact reporting for large healthcare system contract changes and renewals. Works cross-functionally within the region and supports achievement of regional operating plan targets. Produces ad hoc reports to satisfy information needs across products/segments and markets. Works with network partners and hospital chargemaster team to understand and ensure implementation of rate adjustments. Accountable for all financial projections associated with projects. **Projects include the following:** + Analyze complex types of fee-for-service provider contracts and present results against budgets and benchmarks, perform variance analysis + Utilize, maintain and develop pricing models and medical cost tracking tools (e.g. Projection Model) + Provide complex and detailed analysis and support for planning and forecasting of medical costs + Provide consultative support to network managers with legitimacy testing of rate proposals. + Work cross-functionally within the region and support achievement of regional operating plan targets. **Required Qualifications** + 0 - 2 years of accounting and/or analysis and/or healthcare industry experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + 2 + years healthcare industry and/or analytics experience. + Advanced skills in Excel, MS-Access and Web-based query tools (MCM, data warehouse) + Strong analytical ability and familiarity with advanced financial and healthcare concepts + Demonstrates critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, concisely and logically from a cross functional perspective + Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently + Demonstrates initiative, innovation and leadership in achieving results **Education** Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $93,574.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
