What You’ll Be Doing:
The Prime Brokerage Analyst role is a critical part of the firm’s client-facing infrastructure, supporting the Prime Brokerage Sales team. The Analyst will focus on hedge fund client analysis, sales metric development, relationship management, and cross-functional coordination across multiple business lines. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of client strategy, analytics, and execution, with direct visibility to senior management and measurable impact on business outcomes.
How You’ll Succeed:
Client Analytics & Sales Support
Conduct hedge fund client analysis, including performance flows, sales activity, and revenue contributions.
Develop, maintain, and report on key sales metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators for PB Sales leadership.
Support the design and distribution of marketing and client materials in coordination with the Capital Markets teams.
Provide insights and recommendations to drive sales strategy, revenue growth, and client engagement.
Hedge Fund Solutions & Cross-Vertical Support
Assist in the execution of the Hedge Fund Solutions strategy across multiple business verticals.
Perform revenue analysis, identify cross-selling opportunities, and map client relationships across the firm.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
Contribute to product strategy initiatives including research on industry trends and competitive positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with PB Sales and Capital Markets to enhance hedge fund client management and coverage models.
Facilitate communication and alignment across internal teams to present a unified, client-centric approach.
Who You Are:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in related field (Economics, Commerce) and 7-15 years of related experience.
Series 7 and 63 is preferred
Thorough understanding of the financial markets and market influences, including general current affairs.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients and colleagues
Ability to relay complex news/developments in a concise/clear manner.
Ability to work under pressure.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $115,000-$135,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. CIBC offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employee’s needs; including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave, Parental Leave, and Vacation), Holidays, and 401(k), in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
