Role Overview:
The Streaming FP&A Analyst will support both Global and Domestic Streaming financial planning and analysis activities. This role is integral to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and insights across the streaming business. The analyst will collaborate with global and domestic finance teams, Corporate FP&A, accounting and systems teams to consolidate financial data, analyze performance, and support initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Forecasting
Supporting month end close and forecast/budget reporting process from an FP&A perspective with variance analysis and commentary preparation focusing on streaming P&LSummarizing key findings to support discussions and decision making with the business and finance leadershipSupport on the reporting packages and deliverables consolidation for month-end close and forecast/budgetInvestigate and explain variances across global and domestic streaming operationsValidate forecast and budget data integrity in planning systemsManagement Reporting & Analysis
Consolidate actuals and forecast variance explanations for streaming businesses.Support forecasting, reporting, and compliance requests from domestic and global finance teamsProvide ad hoc analysis and respond to cross-functional data requestsSupport various presentations and supporting materials preparationSystems & Process Support
Liaise with financial systems teams to implement management reporting and system changesUnderstand and support metadata governance processes (e.g. coding block and hierarchy changes)Collaborate with accounting, finance and tech teams to ensure timely and accurate reportingQualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.Experience:
1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on forecasting and budgeting, and requiring strong analytical and organizational skills.Skills:
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS OfficeExperience with Oracle EPM or similar financial planning systemsExperience with S4 Hana or similar financial planning systemsStrong communication and presentation skillsPreferred Attributes:
Experience in media, entertainment, or streaming industries.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Collaborative mindset with a global perspectiveHow We Get Things Done…
