Your role at Baxter

The Analyst will assist in monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecast processes, annual budgeting, and the long-range plan. Additionally, the role will supply to helpful business analytics, process improvement projects, and ad-hoc initiatives.

This position at Baxter will be part of an outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization and will support the R&D Finance team. The role interacts with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team as well as in-country finance and business partners within the Americas Region and Global FP&A.

What you'll be doing

We assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for R&D, as well as heat maps, PNS (Profit & Sales) reports, and other management requirements.

We prepare standard reporting packages for monthly and quarterly reviews.

We support the Global R&D and business partners with analysis, reporting, and presentation materials for MRR, QRR, and forecast scenarios.

We upload forecast and budget data into financial systems.

We perform variance analysis to explain differences in performance.

We complete ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.

We support and maintain Power BI dashboards, including updates and improvements.

We build and handle relationships with finance and business collaborators.

We provide support to finance and R&D leaders on financial processes and reporting.

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Planning, or Budgeting (internship experience may be considered).

Knowledge of Power BI and other BI tools a requirement

English level: B2+ or higher.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
