Analyst, Finance (Corp Accounting)

Ensure correct application of U.S. GAAP and accuracy, quality and compliance of the Company's financial reporting. Partner with Business Unit and Regional finance representatives to provide guidance on various areas of accounting as well as compliance with the Company's Global Policies and local regulations.

How´ll make an impact:
• Record transactions in general ledger and sub-ledgers to ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and interpret accounting and financial data to identify discrepancies, propose adjustments, and ensure accuracy, ensuring efficient reporting of any finding detected.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial reports to support corporate and local reporting requirements.
• Prepare and process month-end journal entries; perform balance sheet reconciliations; gather data and generate reports to validate balances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., SOX, GAAP, SEC, IRS) and provide explanations to internal and external auditors.
• Assess system capabilities and process efficiencies; recommend improvements and enhancements.
• Support team members & management on ad-hoc tasks and assist in preparing information for management presentations.

What are we looking for(Required):
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance , and 3 years minimum of previous related experience.

What else we look for (Preferred):
• Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems; ERP (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SP) experience preferred
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English and local language
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
• Solid problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
• Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to accounting
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
• Solid understanding of Local Taxes principles
• Solid knowledge of financial concepts and principles
• Ability to communicate with different areas for process improvement.
• Expertise in own functional areas and general knowledge of other areas impacted within the business
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the department on specific projects
• Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
