Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst whose primary responsibility is to act as a Product Owner to lead a development team which works with our stakeholders to identify, assess, and act on opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs, and expand the Lifetime Value of our vehicles. This position will develop proofs of concept, collect stakeholder feedback, deliver prototype visualizations and analyze the results.
The person in this role will support the Enterprise Value Lifetime Analytic department's objective to ensure our customers are provided the required data to drive revenue and cost optimization decisions.
What you’ll be doing
Build relationships with key stakeholders within Toyota’s Product Profit Lifecycle Management department to develop analytical solutions to help us understand a vehicle’s financial health throughout its lifecycle
Develop and deploy analytic solutions using data engineering and visualization software packages like Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, etc. utilizing the AGILE method of Scrum
Manage a backlog of priorities for yourself and business partners supporting stakeholder objectives
Apply your arsenal of creative problem-solving and quantitative analytical skills, including statistical methods, to connect the dots and find the insight buried in the data
Provide data-driven recommendations and analytical support to leadership for specific decisions to optimize revenue, costs or cash-flow
Continue to build your analytical, technical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience
What you bring
Capability to quickly access, manipulate, analyze, and output data using Alteryx or similar software
Experience analyzing and communicating financial information in support of decision making
Proficiency with Tableau, PowerBI or other comparable data visualization applications
Strong creative and quantitative problem-solving skills
Basic statistical knowledge
Intellectual curiosity – always seeking to understand and find the truth – as well as identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in established processes
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or other relevant fields
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Added bonus if you have
MBA / CPA
Experience in the automotive industry including research & design, cost planning, manufacturing finance, bills of materials, or revenue optimization
Experience with SAP or S4 Hana
Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
