Remote position
Conduct operations research in order to develop accurate data models from a variety of data sources (MySQL, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server) as well as drawing information from operations teams.Refresh data models to keep baseline data at the ready for optimization and simulation.Provide solutions to the product flow by commodity, customer and facility by utilizing capacity planning tools understanding pinch point and potential futures risks balancing impacts to peripheral facility operations, labor concerns and system constraints.Partner closely with the slotting, engineering, operations, etc. to ensure the capacity analysis correlates to the actual executed slotted plan. Garner feedback from the slotting team to determine if capacity planning tools should be modified to better represent final end-state solutionPresent actionable recommendations to finance teams, operations teams, and senior leadership teams with clear, concise communication and visual representations. Support finance teams with accurate metrics and rationale for operational changes.Create and utilize tools that can quickly analyze product moves and customer/DC relationships to assist the sales team in determining potential for new business and the feasibility of proposed product flow and capacitiesWork with the network modeling team to provide inputs for modeling capacity and analyze output to determine the feasibility of modeled solutionsTravel Required:NoEnvironment
