GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Agency Management Analyst role is part of the Agency Management group at Fifth Third and will work predominantly on post-closing items for Agented Syndicated Loan deals.  The primary focus of the role will be to be to track and lead the process involving financial deliverables and compliance certificates for deals where Fifth Third acts as Administrative Agent.

This role performs a wide range of analytical, tracking, and transaction due diligence functions in support of the ongoing, post-closing servicing of capital markets financing solutions across loan products.  The qualified candidate will function in roles that include project management, compliance, and operational excellence while working closely with all capital market teams, industry verticals, middle market, and large-corporate teams.  Requires highly skilled analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.  Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist deal team by engaging the Middle Office Closing Manager upon notification of new transactions in the pipelineOnce deal is closed, onboard new clients by preparing the welcome package for the client with key contacts at Fifth Third and what the ongoing requirements of the Credit Agreement are, including reporting deliverables and key dates/timelinesManage multiple, competing priorities while working on a number of high priority deals simultaneouslyManage the receipt of ongoing financial deliverables and compliance certificates from the clientMaintain the Agency Management Portal – Track collection of client deliverables and follow up for receipt of all necessary documents while escalating when necessaryManage the deal site (SyndTrak) access for other lenders and post reporting and other documents to the site for lendersAssist Agency Services in term out of DLOCs and ensuring amortization schedules are established and client is invoiced for paymentTabulate lender votes on amendmentsCommunicate effectively with PMs, RMs, and deal team members on issues that arise with any deliverables or and work on other projects as neededDevelop proficiency in multiple relevant systems used by the team, including SyndTrak, Wall Street Office, Microsoft Office, ACBS, and othersPerform additional duties as required

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

3-5 years of previous banking experience with background in Agency Services or Agency Management preferredBachelor's degree with strong financial or business backgroundUndergraduate level financial and managerial accounting course work preferredStrong analytical skills and an interest in corporate finance, deal servicing, and financial marketsMust be familiar with Agented Syndicated Credit Agreements and how to navigate/interpret those documentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
