Under close supervision, you will classify, examine, and analyze accounting records, prepare financial reports and statements, and perform special projects as needed. You will also support other accounting and external reporting activities.
**How you will contribute:**
You will:
+ Support accounting and external reporting activities, including accurate and timely submission of US GAAP reporting, as well as the timeliness and integrity of statutory financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, KPIs, fixed assets, restructuring, and intercompany transactions. As needed, you will also support activities performed by Mondelēz International Business Services/third-party service providers during month/quarter/year-end closing, statistical reporting, and statutory audits.
+ Contribute to maintaining a robust control and compliance environment and adhere to Mondelēz International's AER policy. You will also support audit activities and provide information upon auditor request.
+ Perform special projects and analyses as requested.
+ Embrace a continuous improvement mindset. You will also identify opportunities to improve working methods within your area of responsibility.
+ Contribute to a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team and invest in your personal development.
**What you will bring:**
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
+ TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in accounting and external reporting, including an understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP, closing processes, and financial reporting systems (SAP experience preferred).
+ BUSINESS ACUMEN and knowledge of policy, controls, and compliance development, including SOX reporting. Experience in the FMCG/CPG industry or with "Big Four" companies will be an advantage.
+ LEADERSHIP SKILLS, including strong communication skills. Ability to work in a results-oriented team.
+ GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and knowledge of financial systems.
+ INTEGRITY and sound judgment in all decisions and interactions, in alignment with our values, policies, and external regulations.

**Education / Certifications:**
+ University degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance
**What extra ingredients you will bring:**
+ Competent work with documents from resident and non-resident suppliers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ability to identify inaccuracies in documents, and handle a large volume of them.
+ Accurate, timely, and competent entry of accounting records in accordance with documents.
+ Conduct regular analysis of settlements with suppliers (reconciliation statements).
+ Competence in tax legislation and accounting standards.
+ Good knowledge of accounting entries.
+ Participation in the closing process, handling audit inquiries, and requests from internal and external clients.
+ Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard under tight deadlines.
+ PC literate (MS Excel, SAP)
+ English: strong intermediate level (B1 and higher).
