How you’ll make an impact:
Perform daily accounting activities and ensure accuracy and compliance.Process all billings received from suppliers to ensure smooth and seamless payment process with no delay.Provide complex accounts payable analysis including ensuring the accuracy of the suppliers’ data (e.g., financial data, GST / indirect tax reconciliation) or accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing and travel and expenses reimbursement.Ensure the accuracy/completeness of the accounts payable accruals or any other reporting tasks to support the overall objectives of the department as assigned.Create/ Update process flows, policies and procedures, training materials for the assigned areas.Participate in projects (e.g., internal, external, year-end, and SOX audits) by analyzing data, participating in testing of the solution, and making recommendations to support the overall objectives of the department or company- wide strategic initiatives as assigned.Resolve complex issues to bring invoices or supplier set up issues to closure by collaborating with other departments or suppliers. Act as lead in supervisor’s absence.Identify accounting system deficiencies, recommend process improvements to provide timely, accurate and useful information to ensure accurate financial reporting and partner with systems group to drive required changes.Facilitate and support all internal control on SOX key controls and ensure all processes and compliances are appropriately completed within area of responsibility; establish audit worthy evidence and documentationProvide regular internal training to stakeholders.Perform external calls to supplier upon request.Support any incidental dutiesWhat you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration3 years experience of previous experience RequiredGood analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skillsFull knowledge of accounting concepts and principlesExpertise in one or more functional areas and detailed knowledge of other areas impacted within the businessFull knowledge in MS Office Suite including Excel and integrated systems (e.g., JDE)What else we look for (Preferred):
Master's Degree or equivalent 1 year experience of previous experience PreferredGood computer skills in MS Office Suite including Excel required; integrated systems (e.g., JDE) preferredAble to read, write, comprehend, and speak Mandarin, Cantonese and/or Korean.Strict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levelsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environmentMust be able to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage vendors and stakeholdersAbility to build productive internal/external working relationshipsResponsible for individual and collective team contributions.Ability to provide suggestions based upon knowledge and analysis.Ability to influence cross site activities.May schedule the work of or coach others.Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
