Position Purpose Manage and ensure proper execution of the plan-o-gram process that includes utilizing merchandising concepts and retail space planning to maximize selling opportunities and increase overall sales. The merchandiser has to be a plan-o-gram specialist who works with other team to analyze product sales patterns, recommends facings and mins products should have, display strategy, and which products should surround it, also assures effective and timely implementation in accordance to the annual category update calendar. Primary Accountabilities Builds , develops and designs the planograms of the category , based on a preliminary review of the categories and working together with the CM, ACM and the Analyst to review different issues of the category, such as historical sales data to compare behaviors exhibition Vs previous years, differentiation between regions, sales in the last 13 periods, gross margin, profit, product returns per year (turns) and space square foot profitability, 80/20 product analysis, cross merchandise , promotional ideas (extension arms, special signage) in order to make recommendations and maximize the product performance into the planogram. Manages and assures, through JDA Space Planning, Mainframe and Shelftag, the correct implementation of planograms , description tag , sequence , minimum, maximum, pictures and other key elements that allows an accurate implementation of the planogram in the stores Communicates to the store operation through the ZAP format (Zoner Action Plan) the planograms to be implemented; by doing this the Operations team can perform a proper implementation of the project. Drafts 100 planograms (per year) utilizing "JDA Space Planning" software so requires a robust knowledge of "JDA Space Planning" and Data Manager Supports the resolution about technical issues related to planograms and joints efforts with other departments as follows: tracking the orders (fixtures and signage), monitoring the exit strategies, reviewing inventory levels, schedule recalls and performs some other situations that might cause a delay into the release planogram process. Manage and schedule the ADD / DELETE / REQUEST (ADR) of the post Line analysis, quick solution, etc. This position is responsible for coordinating the rollout date with the rest of the areas involved. Where all the steps are communicated automatically, but when a delay occurs, the owner has the ability to communicate and interact effectively at many levels of the organization. Where necessary, provide maintenance support and address the execution system. Also is responsable for reflect in the Master File the roll out date for each project Coordinate and schedule the different processes of Line Review Calendar, (Kick off, Will call, setup, approval, LR) for sales floor and Hard parts area, throughout the fiscal year. This position is responsable to book rooms for the LR Coordinates, schedules and follows up the inventory meeting, to define the projects to be linked, respecting the 16 hours of implementation authorized for the operations department, to communicate the areas involved (Merchandise, Supply Chain, Operations, etc.) to detonate the processes corresponding. Coordinate and communicate the projects to link, with a brief explanation of the preparation for the time in implementation in stores. PAG Format Performs some other tasks and key projects assigned by the Manager, such as display opportunities in order to improve the space allocation, New Stores Set Up , etc. Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. Area of Study: Business, Engineering, Technology, Design Years of Experience: Two to three years. Type of Experience: Project management, Retail, Store Operations, Merchandising, Visual Design Special Certifications or Technical Skills: JDA Space Planning Other/Preferred: Excel, Intermediate English
