Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions for both UI and backend services, as well as MS Data Fabric pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and a keen eye for detail to identify potential issues that could impact user experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and backend services.
Design and implement test automation frameworks.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Collaborate with software developers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Conduct automated testing for MS Data Fabric pipelines via Pytest scripts over data-factory-testing-framework
Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure issues are resolved.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements in automation testing.
Ensure that all testing activities are carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in test automation for UI and backend services.
Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Experience with MS Data Fabric and pipeline testing via pytest scripts over data-factory-testing-framework.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python,Pytest.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
