The AU Process Excellence team covers the closure of OP2, BM and Over/Above initiative gaps for the entire country, across all miles (FM, MM and LM). This role focuses specifically on the Last Mile section of this journey, however cross pollination opportunities will occur across miles naturally within the team.
The team are seeking an experienced AMZL SME to support the formation of Standards, Best Practices , Continuous Improvement Initiatives and Recovery Actions for the field team to be set up for success.
This role will be centrally based with some travel (up to 25%) estimated.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner directly with ACES Field, Operations and support teams to provide subject matter expertise and strategic execution support
• Lead root cause analysis initiatives to identify and eliminate operational barriers
• Create new projects, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the network
• Remove operational barriers and deliver immediate results through hands-on problem-solving
• Continuously align and communicate the priorities of the AU Operational Excelelnce ACES team to meet the needs of internal customers
• Synthesize and analyze data to suggest improvements for both training and operational improvements
• Utilize customer feedback to provide relevant content and programmatic feedback to the appropriate teams
