Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an experienced Amusement Manager for our NEW location opening in Schaumburg, IL in early 2026! Amusement Manager Reports to: General Manager/Assistant General Managers POSITION OVERVIEW The Amusement Manager will provide strong daily leadership for the Arcade, Bowling, and Laser Tag areas at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. This role focuses on overseeing all operations and teams within these departments, including troubleshooting and repairing arcade games, managing parts orders, and optimizing arcade layout and placement. Key responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, and training hourly team members, enforcing cost controls, maintaining service standards, and upholding operational procedures and policies—all while prioritizing safety and security. While the primary focus is on the Arcade, Bowling, and Laser Tag departments, the Amusement Manager will also support broader AIKG operations, collaborating closely with the unit General Manager and the AIKG Amusement support team. This role is instrumental in fostering a culture of ownership and accountability across all team members. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead team members with integrity and purpose Empower staff to deliver exceptional, legendary service Consistently uphold the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games motto: “Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence” Oversee repair and maintenance of arcade games, VR, bowling, and laser tag equipment Manage arcade operations including staffing, scheduling, maintenance, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and product quality Drive ongoing development and growth of staff members Provide direct, honest feedback to arcade staff on individual performance Lead staff training and foster positive employee relations Maintain high levels of staff morale and engagement Actively participate in recruitment and retention of arcade personnel Maximize daily sales while effectively managing costs, labor, and cash control Keep arcade department labor costs within budget guidelines Ensure arcade area meets or exceeds site inspection standards Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the arcade Collaborate with the Sales Department to coordinate scheduling and event planning Oversee maintenance, inventory, and care of unit equipment QUALIFICATIONS Required: Eligible to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Energetic and guest-focused with a commitment to operational excellence Preferred: Minimum of two years managing teams in amusement-related areas within a high-volume Family Entertainment Center Passion for and familiarity with virtual reality, arcade games, and motorsports Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff at all levels Strong background in staff training and professional development Benefits: Salary from $60,000 - $75,000 Exciting Bonus opportunities paid quarterly, up to $6,000 per year AIKG has the BEST staff, so managers work with and lead motivated professionals!
