We are seeking a talented **Senior Scientist** to join our team of engineers and technologists supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / Customs and Border Protection (CBP) / Air and Marine Operations (AMO) / Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) in their mission to protect the nation's borders and ensure the security of our communities. This is an exciting and dynamic job opportunity where you will be responsible for overseeing system design, development, and implementation, and make a meaningful impact on a global scale
**As an AMOC Senior Scientist, you will:**
+ Evaluates, designs, re-designs, compiles, re-compiles, recodes C4I tracker and correlator, as required, to react to the ever-changing user community requirements for target detection, utilizing:
+ Adaptive Kalman filters for plot time tag smoothing and for azimuth and time tag registration
+ Munkres optimal assignment algorithm is used to resolve ambiguous plot-to-track correlation
+ Design and implement new advanced C4I interfaces to accept and export new sensors.
+ Redesign existing C4I interfaces, as required to meet mission requirements.
+ Perform C4I system design, software development, system configuration, planning and implementing installations, system upgrade and updates, documentation and provides system drawings
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Master s degree in computer science, Math, Physics, or related field
+ 10 years of experience in evaluating, designing, and implementing advanced C4I systems and interfaces
+ Advanced programming in C, C
+ Strong understanding of C4I systems and technical requirements
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
