Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, various types of ammonia, Freon and/or CO2 refrigeration equipment, Our technicians play a hands-on, critical role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely. You’ll be part of a skilled team maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure.If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and building your expertise in ammonia refrigeration, this could be a great fit for you.What You’ll Do
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2 refrigeration systems, electrical systems, machinery, and building infrastructure.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.
Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in our CMMS system.
Support inspections, testing, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with leadership and team members to share updates and solutions.
Occasionally oversee contractors working near refrigeration systems to ensure safety and compliance.
What We’re Looking For✅ 2+ years of industrial refrigeration experience required (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2).
✅ Refrigeration Operator I and/or CIRO certification highly preferred.
✅ 3+ years mechanical experience with motorized lifts, warehouse, processing, or manufacturing equipment (or equivalent trade school training).
✅ MHE/Forklift electrical maintenance experience preferred.
✅ Knowledge of basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical details to a non-technical audience.
✅ Comfortable working in cold storage (-20°F) or dry storage (up to 100°F) environments.
✅ Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work flexible schedules, including weekends if needed.
