Responsibilities:

Ensure all ammonia plant is operating safely.Hourly parameter recording No division in the parameter setting. Hydrocarbon management for the fridge plants and compressors operation Ensure the underground team gets cooled air for their health and good production. Compressor monitoring and hourly parameter recordingChemical dosing to the plant cooling system To ensure the chemical is maintained correctly. (Ammonia, nitrogen, and water treatment) Preparation of daily report as requested by management.                      Confirmed mining regulation regarding statutory inspection and equipment. Inspection and Equipment safety certificate Assist and conduct incident or accident investigation.Comply with Occupational Health and Environment policies, as well as other policies, procedures, and guidelines, Carry out other tasks assigned by the Shaft Maintenance Supervisor Be vigilant of the company's assets, Monitor, report, and action through the appropriate Procedures, activities resulting in the loss, misuse, or misappropriation of company assets.Top-up Ammonia and check for leaks by using the Sulphur stickCleaning cooling tower dam, BAC, inspection of each quoterManaging planned maintenance parameters and analyzing and reporting planned or unplanned maintenance results and deviations, correcting as required, ensuring a safe zero-tolerance environment.ZH and GA compressor cooling tower inspection, chemical dosing, and cleaningAssist the maintenance team with any work related to the fridge plant, compressor and main ventilation fansMain ventilation fans monitoring and report any fault to the maintenance supervisorOil top-up/ drain to the plant if requiredMaintain good housekeeping in all plant and compressor areasFridge and compressor plant eye wash inspection Ensure all MSD to the chemicals used at fridge and compressor are updated Ensure all the bund walls are in good condition and all chemicals are stored in the bund walls

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:                                                             

Advance secondary education (Form six above)Computer literate in the Microsoft Package Applications

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

3 Underground mining experience is added as an advantagePLC Knowledge is an added advantage 

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent Troubleshooting skillsChemical handling awarenessThorough knowledge of ammonia fridge plant operation Communication, Fluent in written and verbal English & SwahiliProcessing Plant operation skillsCompressor operation skills Environmental awareness skill.
