AML/KYC Analyst (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AML/KYC Analyst to join our team in Luxembourg, Verl or Berlin. Together with our AML officer the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant Anti-money laundering laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to implement effective compliance programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures together with the Anti-Money Laundering Officer. Implement and ensure adherence to regulations (e.g. Circular CSSF 12/552, Directive (EU) 2018/843, local Luxembourg and German regulation). Conduct regular audits and support compliance and AML risk assessments. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of controls. Execute AML/KYC reviews. Handle sophisticated KYC matters, e.g. assess complex legal ownership structures Process FATCA/ CRS onboarding and reporting documentation. Follow independently ongoing alerts from our transaction monitoring system, document your findings and make recommendations on the cases Proactive engagement of local management and raising awareness of AML regulation among employees Provision of training and guidance to employees on AML matters. Liaise with regulatory authorities and support AML reporting. Establishing efficient and compliant onboarding procedures with the relevant teams and technical service providers Working on the international standardization and introduction of tool-based workflows Taking over business ownership for AML related service provider.

 

Qualifications:

Degree in Law, Business Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of regulatory compliance or anti-money laundering at a bank/financial service provider. Strong knowledge of Luxembourg’s and Germany’s regulatory environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
