Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical L2 AML Analyst to join the Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) team. This role focuses on reviewing and resolving PEP alerts escalated from the L1 team. The analyst will play a critical role in identifying potential PEP matches among customers and ensuring appropriate escalation for Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD). Key Responsibilities:  Review and analyze PEP alerts escalated from L1 analysts.  Determine whether the alert pertains to an existing customer.  Assess whether the customer is a confirmed PEP.  Escalate confirmed PEP matches for EDD to the appropriate line of business.  Work through a backlog of approximately 2,900 PEP alerts, followed by ongoing current alerts.  Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal AML procedures and regulatory requirements.
