AML Alerts Review Analyst (Mandarin)
_We’re looking for a_ **_AML Alerts Review Analyst (Mandarin)_** _to join our Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you will perform name scanning for individuals or entities against Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), Relatives and Close Associates (RCA), and Corporate Mandated Watchlist._ **_Position Responsibilities:_** + Support the HKR Team by Reviewing 1st and 2nd level daily Bridger alerts to detect and mitigate hidden reputational risks that the client may pose for Manulife. + To conduct weekly Anti-Terrorist, Factiva and SIP scan on customers covering Corporate Mandated Watch lists. + To prepare assessment for customers who are identified as positive/deemed name match for ongoing escalations and further reporting. + Documenting and filing alert result for audit and regulatory review. + Follow AML guidelines and ensure enhanced due to diligence is applied for Politically Exposed Person, High Risk Clients, and government regulations. + Meticulous and attention in clients’ details. + Handle and support both simple and complex tasks. + Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth flow of information and provide necessary support. + Respond to associate inquiries and conduct thorough online research on specific individuals or companies. + Serve as a subject matter expert for tasks related to AML alerts. + Assist the Team Leader in responding to business unit inquiries via email. + Review reports prepared by colleagues. + Utilize and understand various discounting techniques and their justifications **Required Qualifications:** + A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in finance, insurance operations, or a compliance-related field. + Proficient in Mandarin (reading only) + Bachelor’s degree and/or associate degree plus equivalent combination of education, additional certification and/or experience. + Candidate is willing to work on a dayshift and during Philippine holidays with a hybrid set-up (work onsite and from home depending on the business needs). **Preferred Qualifications:** + Good written skills and good verbal communication skills. + Basic Knowledge using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) + Accuracy and keen attention to details + Ability to apply sound judgment with strong decision-making skills. + Ability to work with high volume and time restraint. + Proactive individual with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and extraordinary attention to detail. **_When you join our team:_** + We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. + We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. + As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see. **Acerca de Manulife y John Hancock** Manulife Financial Corporation es un importante proveedor internacional de servicios financieros que ayuda a las personas a tomar decisiones de una manera más fácil y a vivir mejor.
