Americas Regional Communications Manager
The person in this role will manage and lead the creation and implementation of modern communication strategies that help articulate the strategic narrative of SLB's presence in various regions around the world, drive engagement, and demonstrate innovation, technology and performance across a multitude of channels. This role is responsible for supporting regional management teams with communication activities, and guiding geounit and/or basin management to drive regional communications programs. The role requires strong storytelling skills and the ability to take high-level technical content, combine it with large-scale global trends and thought leadership across the energy industry, and articulate it into compelling, engaging content for relevant audiences. The position collaborates and plans integrated campaigns across Executive, Internal, External, Brand and Division Communications. Roles & Responsabilities: + Developing and executing the relevant global communications strategies. + Supporting major initiatives and campaigns across the enterprise, including thought leadership, product launches, brand campaigns, technology and innovation stories as well as culture and sustainability. + Managing and continuously improving SLB’s communications channels across paid, earned, shared and owned. + Integrating and planning master editorial calendar along with division, function and regional teams. + Supporting cross-communication measurement and effectiveness, including open rates, click-through rates and other critical metrics. + Driving modern and engaging content that is on-brand, understandable and compelling. Qualification & Experience: 10+years of experience in a communications role either in a company or PR/Communications Agency. Bachelor's/Master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business and administration. Skills: Fluent in Spanish/English. Ability to turn a strategic vision into effective communications. Experience in dealing with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment. Curious, organized and results focused. Strong people engagement and management skills.
