Americas Operations Facilities Director – Financial Services Account

The Operations Facilities Director for this Financial Services client account team is responsible for overseeing the delivery of facilities management services tailored to the unique needs and objectives of the client.  This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and alignment with specific client requirements, while driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement at the account level.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Direct the day-to-day operations of staff for the assigned account, ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with the client’s service level agreements (SLAs), account-specific processes, and expectations.

Client Relationship Management: Serve a key point of contact for the client’s stakeholders, building strong partnerships and ensuring that all account-specific needs, escalations, and feedback are addressed promptly and effectively.

Account Strategy & Planning: Develop in partnership with the JLL Platform and drive implementation of strategic asset management plans, optimized maintenance schedules, and operational excellence initiatives that are customized to the account’s portfolio, business priorities, and risk profile.

Performance Management: Develop and implement account-specific action plans based on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and financial performance. Ensure that the action planning and tracking is completed and provide guidance to the teams responsible for implementation of the actions.

Move Management: Assist in the development of a unified move management program for the client’s Americas’ portfolio.  Retain oversight of this team.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and internal policies as they pertain to the client’s locations. Lead incident management, reporting, and root cause analysis for the account.  Work closely with the HSSE team to reinforce the account’s safety culture and in reducing the frequency and severity of an incidents that occur.

Financial Oversight: Manage the account’s operating budgets along with the individual budget owners, review and approve major invoices, and drive cost savings initiatives specific to the client’s objectives. Provide transparency of all costs and performance at the account level.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, technology integrations, and best practices that are relevant to the account’s environment and evolving needs.

Team Development: Manage, supervise, and develop all senior site personnel for the account, ensuring appropriate training, competency assessments, and succession planning are in place and aligned with the client’s culture and expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, preferably within the financial services sector and with direct account management responsibilities.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build trust and deliver results for individual client accounts.

Experience with FM technology platforms (e.g., Corrigo, CMMS) and data analytics, with the ability to customize reporting and processes for the account.

Fundamental understanding of building systems and engineering.

Proven ability to manage budgets, drive cost savings, and deliver operational excellence at the account level.

Knowledge of compliance, safety, and risk management in critical environments, tailored to the client’s regulatory and operational landscape.

Ability to work with third-party vendors and manage complex service delivery models specific to the account.

Reduced operating costs and improved asset reliability for the account

Enhanced compliance and minimized risk in line with client requirements

Improved client satisfaction and stakeholder engagement at the account level

Optimized staffing and resource utilization tailored to the account’s needs

Achievement of cost savings and operational efficiency targets specific to the account

Pay $220,000-260,000 with a 25% targeted bonus of the annual salary

Estimated compensation for this position:

220,000.00 – 260,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
