Managed Services – Pursuit Manager

As a Manager on our Pursuit Excellence team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions across the entire breadth of our managed service offerings and guiding a team to deliver high-impact proposals that address client needs in a dynamic environment.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Pursuit / Bid Manager to lead teams in driving the development and owning the end-to-end process for managed service solutions and proposals; providing exceptional service to our internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Direct the execution of pursuit and bid management processes, including level-of-effort modeling, financial modeling, and adherence to deal governance protocols, while overseeing the full end-to-end bid management process to ensure strict adherence to established standard operating procedures at every stage.
• Efficiently manage multiple, simultaneous pursuit projects, ensuring all initiatives are well-organized and proceed according to established timelines.
• Conduct thorough reviews to confirm that proposed solutions comply with organizational standards and approved parameters.
• Collaborate with Engagement Partners and Pursuit Senior Managers to develop persuasive proposal documents, leveraging subject matter expertise and appropriate collateral to address the needs of the business.
• Facilitate the transition from pursuit to delivery through structured kickoff meetings, ensuring all stakeholders fully comprehend solution details, contractual obligations, and engagement support prior to handover.
• Ensure systematic capture and archiving of all pursuit artifacts, such as proposals and financial and labor models, in accordance with EY’s archival standards to provide a feedback loop into our services collateral
• Monitor progress of pursuit activities, proactively manage risks, and keep key stakeholders informed of developments and expected outcomes.
• Maintain consistent delivery of high-quality work products within predetermined timeframes

• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple, diverse teams and have demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Decision-Making: Strong decision-making abilities, with the capacity to evaluate relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
• Financial Modelling: Fundimental understanding of financial modelling within the context of managed services sales and ability to manipulate the modeling tools.
• Collaboration: Highly collaborative team player with a successful track record of engaging a broad range of stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other collaboration platforms.
• Certifications: Currently pursuing, actively working toward, or holding PMP or APMP certification.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of five years bid management experience within a professional services organization or a complex managed services setting.
• Previous Employment: Experience with an outsourcing firm (e.g., PWC, KPMG, Accenture, IBM, EDS) or practical experience in Managed Services Sales Support preferred
